Rohan Wilson is an educator, mentor, and speaker committed to helping people recognize their potential and move forward with purpose.
His work spans K–12 and higher education, mentorship, leadership development, and public speaking. Across every platform, his mission remains the same: Inspire, empower, and educate.
I was born in Jamaica and later moved to Brooklyn, New York, where I spent most of my adult life. My journey has been shaped by faith, family, education, and experiences that taught me how to keep moving forward even when the path wasn’t easy.
I know what it means to face financial pressure, personal loss, self-doubt, and seasons when giving up seemed easier than continuing. Those experiences didn’t just shape who I am. They shaped how I teach, lead, mentor, and connect with others.
Education became an important part of that journey. I earned graduate degrees from Pace University and New York Institute of Technology and built my career as a special education teacher. Today, I continue that work in higher education as an adjunct professor, while also mentoring young people and speaking to audiences about faith, purpose, resilience, and personal growth.
I don’t speak about overcoming challenges from a distance. I’ve lived through them. And I use what I’ve learned to help others see that where they started does not have to determine where they finish.
Special education, inclusive instruction, student advocacy and higher education.
Helping young people build confidence, character, discipline and leadership.
I believe education can change a mind, encouragement can change a moment, and empowerment can change a life. My work in the classroom, through mentorship, on stage, and online is built around helping people see what is possible and take the next step toward it.
A short, warmer section about the values and experiences behind the professional titles.
These are more than values I speak about. They are the principles that shape how I live, teach, lead, and serve.

I’m an educator. A Special Education teacher. Spent several years in the classroom - from Brooklyn New York, to Baltimore County, Maryland. I am a family man, a community man, a man of God - faith anchored in God. I teach, I preach, I motivate audiences and help them to shift their mindset. I am Jamaican born, lived in Brooklyn NY most of my adult years, earned a Master of Art from New York Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Education from Pace University.
I am a motivational framework speaker who is known for being reliable, relatable, and honest without being harsh. My approach is centered on motivating and encouraging people in a genuine, practical way. Rather than just delivering ideas that sound good in the moment, I focus on leaving audiences with clear, actionable takeaways they can apply the very same day.
My work focuses on growth mindset, mental resilience, and discipline, while helping people find practical answers to their problems. I’m especially passionate about supporting those who feel stuck, guiding them toward clarity and forward movement. In addition to speaking engagements, I also serve as an MC for events such as weddings, baby showers, banquets, and other special occasions.
Seeing people grow, gain clarity, and realize they are capable of more than they once believed. I’m motivated by transformation – watching individuals stay committed, take action, and make meaningful progress in their lives.
